Searching
I looked into Advance Searching, I had never tried it before. I liked that I can type a several words or an exact word or phrase and I can even decide the language that I want and it. I find out that I can also decide on what region of the world I want the such done. I can also decide the reading level I want the articles to be and the file type I want and click the advanced search button sand it takes directly to Google. I believe this is very helpful, and will help me to find things a lot faster.
I also looked into the Advanced Image Search an just like Advance Searching one can type words or an exact word or phrase to search for am image. I can actually looked for a specific image size, the type of image, the color and the file type and it will automatically will send me to Google and give me all the image options there are on the specific search I did. I really liked that I can find things in a much easier way and without going through may hassles.
Google Custom Search is a Google search box that delivers fast and relevant search results and lets the visitor to quickly and concise. A person can look at one web site or search for one specific topic at multiple websites. I can just add a search box to my home page to help me to find what I need on the website. I liked this tool because it makes searches much easier and quicker than the other ones. I really enjoyed learning more about how to make my searching a lot easier and faster.

Google Drawing
Today I looked at Google Drawing which is part of the Google Docs, I looked at the tutorial and I learned that this was created for business like diagrams and charts. It is very easy to use, one can just select a chart from the tool bar and click on it and select the shape desired and can also duplicate the shape by just set the cursor over the shape and drag and click and drag and duplicate as many times needed. I can also highlight all around the shapes and then go ahead and format them to distribute horizontal or vertically. They can also be aligned horizontally and move them to the center or to the right or left or also can be aligned vertically and set then to the top, middle or bottom. I double click on the shape and a small window appears and one can write a text and one can do this in all the shapes. I liked that I can share this document and get feedback from other people. I can also change the color s of the shapes. After one finished the person can go to file and download it as the format one chooses and gets downloaded to the computer. We can also go to google document and go to insert menu and choose drawing and we can also create drawing and added to our Google Docs. What I liked about drawings is that I can create drawings with different colors, shapes, lines, curbs and different dimensions. I also liked that I can draw different characters, I believe that I am going to definitely used google Drawing in the future.

Forms
I enjoyed creating a Google Form, I believe it is a great tool for teachers. It just will make grading so much easier and in less time, this is important since teachers tend to spend a big amount of time grading papers. another advantage that I can see is that actually papers are not needed for students to take a quiz or to have an activity to collect information. I created a Spanish quiz and email it to Patrick Tiller for him to take the quiz. He also created a quiz for me to take and then we submitted the quizzes. Another feature I really liked is that as soon as the form is submitted it automatically goes into a spreadsheet.
In the lesson plans Graphing with Google Docs and Forms the teacher will create a Google Form to collect information from the class. she creates a google Docs and Forms in order to know her class. the information has been collected onto a Google spreadsheet the teacher will be able to view a summary of the data for the students to analyze and draw conclusions. The students need to answer the questions the teacher created as well as to form statements that are true about the data. the teacher asks the students to brainstorm questions that students could ask to gather data about their class. Open ended and multiple choice questions will work for this type of of activity but not narrative questions.

spreadsheets
Google Docs Spreadsheet are pretty much like Microsoft Excel. I have used Microsoft Excel before but I am not an expert on the use of it. It seems that Google Docs Spreadsheet has less functions listed but it still does the same functions as Microsoft Excel. I really like that Google Docs Spreadsheet all files and folders are stored online and the students and the teacher can create, share the material and at the same time collaborate by giving others editing privileges. Another important feature is that anyone can have access to the documents wherever they are at.
In the lesson plan Collaborative Lab Experiments, the students will collect data and will recorded on a common Doc/ spreadsheet. By collecting the data on a spreadsheet the students will be able to compare, contrast, analyze and synthesize their information. they will also determine scientific conclusions about the multiple observations and their results. Team members will be able to record and graph their data on a share Google Doc/spreadsheet and then will be able to use the "share" drop-down menu and invite fellow students. They can also share the document with the other lab partners by adding their email address to the invite "box" and checking to "edit". the students can also invite their teacher to be their editor.
In the lesson plan Consumer Product Testing Experiment, the teacher gives the students a project to work on in which they need to work on a consumer product testing and they need to use Google Spreadsheet to turn data into information. the students will have to work with partners usingGoogle Docs to create an online survey that collect data they need to complete consumer products research. they will create a form to collect all hyperlinks of surveys available into a single spreadsheet. this spreadsheet can be used later to make the surveys available to everyone in the class. This can also be used by the teacher to review and critique each others surveys before they used with the real audience.
I really liked that any of the students that want to access the spreadsheet from home, they can use the "chat feature" to discuss their conclusions. the teacher can also create a Google form for students to input data and then sharing the spreadsheet withe the class for analysis.
I believe that using spreadsheets in my classroom will be a great asset. I can use it to keep track of grades, a list of assignments, etc. I can used to assign students to work on surveys, research, statistics. Different students can share their input and work in collaboration with their peers and even I has a teacher can be check that they are using all the right sources available for them.

Presentations
I have used Power Point for many years, actually I make a Power Point presentation every week to use at Church. I had never used Google Presentation before so it is new for me. what I liked the most is that it is Cloud based so one can have access to the presentation anywhere. another thing that I liked is that they are simple to create. One can add text, videos, images, animations, and transitions. they are easy to create, share and edit. I can embed the presentation in a blog.
In the lesson plan Learning New Vocabulary the Collaborative Way, the students reported researching their findings on a specific subject area and they used Google Presentations to report their findings. The students got a good use of the program by creating a collaborative project and the whole class can review the new vocabulary words. On this lesson plan the students will find images on the internet that will match the vocabulary words. the teacher can create a Google Presentation and the students can access to the presentation. Students can work on their presentation in pairs. they can use all the different assets of Google Presentation like posting images on the slides, and they can also adjust the get style and the color.
This presentation can also exist as an online document which will give acres to students and always refer back for review anywhere they are at.

Google Docs
It is interesting to find a few similarities with other with the word processor that I have used in the past. I find out that Google Docs is very similar to Word. I can see there are many advantages on the use of Google Docs over the use of Word. I think that a big strength of Google Docs is that I can create a document and another person on the other side of the world can add insights to the same document that I just created and how we can both type our own thoughts at the same time.
The lesson plans were very helpful. The lesson plans that we view the teachers used Google docs to create the lesson plans. the teacher creates a Google Doc and shares the document with all the class. This document contains a list of the issues generated from the class discussion they had in the previous class. I believe that the students can use Google docs and submitted to the teacher and the teacher can make any comments. This is a good tool for students to get feedback from the teacher and they won't have any trouble understanding the teacher's comments.
